JOHNSTOWN – A 3-D archery shoot was held Saturday at the St. Clair Tremont Club, with all the proceeds benefiting a 5-year-old boy who was hit by a CamTran bus earlier this year.
Police said Colton Oster was riding his bike in March when he darted out of an alley into the path of the bus. He was flown to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC with serious injuries.
Four months after the accident, Oster’s father C.J. said Colton is almost back to 100 percent.
The archery shoot was held to help Colton’s family pay medical bills. The event is purposely held at night, as each target is lit up, adding to the challenge and the fun.
“Everyone is coming together,” C.J. Oster said. “Maybe not everyone knows my son, but they all are very tight-knit people.”
