Coroner identifies missing Penn State student found dead, says autopsy complete

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WJAC) The coroner has identified the Penn State student who was found dead Friday. According to Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers, the student has been identified as 19-year-old Justine Gross of Summit, New Jersey.

The teenager’s cause of death is still unclear.

Sayers says an autopsy was completed and investigators are waiting on the results which will take about six weeks.

Investigators said Gross’s death appears to be an isolated incident and appears to be accidental in nature.

The State College Police Department and Centre County Coroner’s Office are handling the investigation.
