VANCOUVER (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Eagles cancelled their Vancouver concert Friday because bassist-vocalist Timothy B. Schmit is ill, Live Nation announced Friday according to CBC News.

The U.S. band's Thursday evening concert in Seattle, WA, was also cancelled.

Live Nation says it will reschedule the Vancouver show and fans should hold on to their tickets. A new date has yet to be determined, a spokesman said. The Seattle concert has already been rescheduled for May 26.

Details of Schmit's illness have not been disclosed according to CBC News.

The band, known for hits such as Hotel California, Try to Love Again and I Can't Tell You Why, played two shows in Vancouver earlier this week.

From Vancouver, their tour heads to Portland, Denver and San Diego with dates in Toronto on June 8 and Winnipeg on June 22. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
