GEORGE Michael's most iconic outfits are being put up for sale to the highest bidder - and is set to raise a staggering £30,000.

The RayBan sunglasses and leather Rockers jacket the late star wore throughout the hip swaying music video for Faith will be put up for auction, among a series of other classic pieces.

A studded jacket by Jean-Paul Gaultier worn during the I Want Your Sex video will be going under the hammer.

The auction, which will take place on June 28 at Bonhams in London, will also include his platinum album sales award for the Wham! album Make it Big from 1984 and memorabilia signed by the late legend as well as Andrew Ridgeley.

The auction comes shortly after the star was buried in a small family-led ceremony in Highgate, where he was buried next to his beloved mum.

The singer, 53, died of natural causes at his home in Goring-on-Thames on Christmas Day 2016, shocking the world and leaving his adoring fans bereft.

In April, hundreds of fans descended on Bushey, Hertfordshire - where George grew up – for the The Service of Thanksgiving, with many travelling from across the globe to pay their respects in a fan friendly farewell service.

The service was held at St James The Apostle church and featured some of his best known hits including Jesus to a Child and Wham! classic, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go.

It was followed by a wake at the Three Crowns pub, where the 80s band George performed in with Andrew Ridgeley was formed.

Meanwhile, in mid-May, solicitor John Reid was made a director of seven of George’s multi-million pound music firms.

Mr Reid, 44, a specialist in highly complex showbiz legal wrangles, is part of a team of advisors helping George’s family deal with his £105 million worldwide estate.

And sources say his appointment shows that George’s will is at last being enacted – nearly five months after his Christmas Day death shocked the world.

Significantly, it was Mr Reid who George’s sisters Melanie and Yioda turned to when his on-off lover Fadi Fawaz posted a link to an unpublished love song by George a week after his death.

Fadi, who was with George for seven years and found the star in his home after going to wake him on Christmas Day, is now seeking a payout from his fortune, including getting the right to remain in the £5million Regent's Park home George owned.
