BIOGRAPHY
Jasmine Sinclair Sabino developed a passion for theatre at a very young age. After graduating, the young Texan moved to Los Angeles in the hope of pursuing a career as an actress under the name Jaz Sinclair. While multiplying odd jobs, she continued to train in acting. After appearing in Eric Kripke’s series Revolution, the public discovered her in an episode of season 5 of Rizzoli & Isles. Her character, Tasha Williams, a homeless orphan who witnesses a murder, pleases and returns for two more episodes of the cop show hosted by Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander.

In 2015, Sinclair starred opposite Cara Delevingne in The Dark Side of Margo, a film based on the young adult novel “Paper Towns,” by the same author as Our Contrary Stars. In the process, she became the disturbing surrogate mother to Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall in When the Bough Breaks and was seen in Easy and The Vampire Diaries.

Netflix subscribers discovered her in 2018, a few days before Halloween, in the reboot of Sabrina, the Witch’s Apprentice. Rosalind Walker, her character, is one of the protagonists of The New Adventures of Sabrina revisited by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. “Roz” is the best friend of the bewitching heroine played by Kiernan Shipka. While she fears losing her sight like all the women in her family, the young girl is surprised to see things that others do not see. A very practical gift for fighting the forces of evil that allows him to spot ghosts and other supernatural creatures.

With The New Adventures of Sabrina coming to an end after three seasons, Jaz Sinclair, freed from any commitment, was cast in March 2011 to play the female lead in Gen V, the spin-off of The Boys in preparation. The episodes will be unveiled on the Prime Video platform in the fall of 2023. The actress plays Marie Moreau, one of the new recruits of Godolkin, a school reserved for young adult superheroes who have been injected with the V-compound. Haunted by the death of her parents, whom she accidentally killed while trying to control her budding powers, she hopes to find redemption and establish herself as a heroine.
