JENNERSTOWN, PA (WJAC) -- Jennerstown Speedway Complex is one of six finalist for NASCAR's Advanced Auto Parts Advance My Track Challenge.
NASCAR and Advance Auto Parts are highlighting short-tracks across North America by giving them a chance to win money, by fan votes, for facility enhancements or to establish community-based programs with schools, nonprofits or other local organizations.
NASCAR Cup Series star Ryan Blaney made the announcement Saturday on social media.
Jennerstown Speedway General Manager Billy Hribar said if Jennerstown wins, the money will go towards a new ADA accessible restroom facility and a handicap viewing area for fans with special needs. Hribar said "we want everyone to be able to enjoy our show and to provide those fans top-notch amenities."
The track with the most fan votes will win the grand prize of $50,000. Second place finisher will win $15,000 and third place will win $10,000.
You can vote for Jennerstown at AdvanceMyTrack.com. Final round of voting runs from May 9-13.
