Brockway house fire damage estimated over $100,000

BROCKWAY - The state police fire marshal, the Brockway Police Department and Brockway Fire Department estimated the fire damage to a single-story residential home at 1127 Pershing Street in Brockway Wednesday to be over $100,000. State police in Ridgway said Jamie S. Hynds, 39, of Brockway, was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois by ambulance for injuries suffered at the fire scene. New Rochelle's Oasis Shelter Seeks Volunteers For Spring Fling

Volunteers are needed for the event itself and for setup on Friday. The fundraiser will feature deals, face painting and baked goods. Spring Mills man accused of attacking officers with flagpole on Jan. 6 released on supervised bail

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — A Centre County man jailed two weeks ago on charges connected to the January 6th Capitol Riot is now out of prison. Federal authorities say Terry Allen, of Spring Mills, is accused of assaulting police officers with a flagpole. Allen is first accused of using a wooden flagpole as a lance, jabbing it at law enforcement officers and then later throwing a metal pole at officers.
