CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County say an animal cruelty investigation is underway after two lambs were reportedly shot last week.
Authorities say on Thursday, May 9, troopers were contacted to investigate a report of livestock being shot and killed at a property along Verns Road, in Ferguson Township.
Troopers say the two lambs were reportedly killed sometime between 8:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, May 8.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with knowledge of the alleged shooting is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.
