Spring Mills man accused of attacking officers with flagpole on Jan. 6 released on supervised bail

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) A Centre County man jailed two weeks ago on charges connected to the January 6th Capitol Riot is now out of prison. Federal authorities say Terry Allen, of Spring Mills, is accused of assaulting police officers with a flagpole.

A Centre County man jailed two weeks ago on charges connected to the January 6th Capitol Riot is now out of prison.

Federal authorities say Terry Allen, of Spring Mills, is accused of assaulting police officers with a flagpole.

Allen is first accused of using a wooden flagpole as a lance, jabbing it at law enforcement officers and then later throwing a metal pole at officers.

This week, Allen was released on supervised bail while wearing an ankle monitor.

He faces a court hearing in Washington D. C. next week.
