A TEENAGE boy was assaulted and stabbed by a group near a Primark store this morning. The shop was closed briefly as one of the suspects tried to hide inside before he was arrested. 1 The 17-year-old victim remained in hospital for treatment in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

A TEENAGE boy was assaulted and stabbed by a group near a Primark store this morning.

The shop was closed briefly as one of the suspects tried to hide inside before he was arrested.

The 17-year-old victim remained in hospital for treatment in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

Thames Valley Police made three arrests and imposed a Section 60 for the whole county.

This allows temporary powers to stop and search anyone without reasonable grounds.

The order will last until 12:55pm tomorrow.

The force said it would be extended “if necessary”.

Police said in a statement: “One of the arrests was made at Primark.

“Members of the public may have seen armed officers in and around the store while this arrest was made.

“The store is now open as normal.
