Smokestack demolished at site of former Washington Co. power plant

Washington County, PA (WPXI) An old Pennsylvania smokestack came crashing down on Tuesday. The 425-foot smokestack imploded at the former location of the Elrama power plant in Washington County. The plant, which was built in the 1950s next to the Monongahela River, was decommissioned in 2012 and imploded earlier this year.
